Jock Carroll (March 5th, 1919 - August 5th, 1995) was a Canadian photojournalist and writer. His 40-year career in photojournalism began in the late 1940s, and his precocious talent facilitated the publication of his images in Sports Illustrated and Esquire. In 1972, Simon and Schuster published Carroll's book on the 1972 Summer Olympic Games. In 1996, Carroll's final book, 'Falling for Marilyn: The Lost Niagara Collection', was published posthumously by Stobart Publishing. The book showcases images, which Carroll had taken of Marilyn on the set of the film, Niagara, in 1952.
