A very rare and desirable complete Terminator outfit from James Cameron’s game-changing action-blockbuster, ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’. Worn by lead Arnold Schwarzenegger, this classic distressed black leather motorcycle costume has become a pop culture icon all over the world.
The ensemble consists of a black leather motorcycle jacket replete with numerous bullet holes and heavy studio distressing, including a series of vertical rips on the back. The jacket is labelled “S41” inside one of the pockets and paired with a set of faux-leather trousers and accompanying leather belt (size 36). A grey t-shirt and a pair of black Harley Davidson buckled motorcycle boots complete the costume.
Both boots have holes in the soles for mounting on a dedicated mannequin display and the trousers show some signs of delamination; otherwise the set is in very good worn condition.
Premiering in Los Angeles on July 1st, 1991, 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day' would prove to be a pioneering production in the field of visual and special make-up effects, influencing filmmakers up to and including the present day.
